Who We Are
Cognitive, Speech, and Language Professionals
We have been speech language pathologists for 10+ years in all different settings including home health, outpatient, skilled nursing, acute rehabilitation, and inpatient. We have a love to help people who have been impacted with a change in their speech, language, cognition, and swallowing difficulties alongside their families/caregivers to excel their skills in order to live a fulfilling life. We go into our patient's own environments such as home, work, stores, bank, or whatever community task is needed to maximize quality of life and personal goals in the Reno Sparks service areas.
Expert Therapy
Speech and language therapy can help you in your everyday environments. Research indicates that when an injury occurs to brain, no matter what systems have been impacted, all WILL have a higher chance of recovery back to baseline when therapy is pursued and completed. Research also displays the benefits of therapy to aid in maintained function when appropriate measures are addressed and taught.

We look at our patients as a whole system. Typically as one system is impacted so are other systems, even though it may not be apparent immediately. We assess what our patients are experiencing against what evidence based research reveals; then develop a plan of care that encompasses all facets of concerns in order to have the best outcome for all involved.

We have several years working with the head and neck cancer population. We enjoy working with patients to find what they can consume safely in order to have the best quality of life. Our patients learn the exercises to best rehabilitate their function and learn a maintenance rehabilitation program for best long term prognosis.
